Resplendent quetzal
Male resplendent quetzal at tree with nesting hollow. This bird's tail coverts not as long as some we saw, but long enough to garner him a mate. Quetzals were seen on a daily basis along the Savegre River and neighboring woods feeding in fruiting trees.
